Black Lives Matter: Home

A guide on information and history surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement and police brutality against black people in the United States..

Background

This guide was first created in 2014 in response to the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO. It is continually updated to include resources on racial injustice, systemic racism, policing, and the justice system in America (June 2020).

This guide can serve as a way to get a better understanding of events that prompted the Black Lives Matter movement. Email Sarah the Librarian if you have questions or wish to add any resources.
